Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Fans worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.

The World Series acted as a bright spot in what has been a trying year for the city. An approximate quarter-million people attended to the championship parade last year, and according to Dodgers player one athlete, supporters this year showed equal or greater support.
