"See such work. Look at this act of genocide," a combatant exclaims.

He smiles as he points the video equipment on himself and his associate militiamen, their Rapid Support Forces badges clearly shown: "These people will all be killed in this manner."

The combatants are exulting in a massacre that aid workers fear resulted in the deaths of over 2,000 civilians in the African metropolis of al-Fashir last month.

A Community Cut Off from the Outside
